Gutes Schloss mit echt lauter Alarmanlage

I like this and how it has an alarm system. They keys are so cheaply made. The keys need to be made better. I was trying to unlock it and the key broke. Good thing it has 2 other keys. Other than that, Its a great product.

Das erhaltene Schloß ist stabil und robust gefertigt. Es besitzt sogar eine Alarmfunktion, was Langfinger abschreken sollte. Wir verwenden es für unsere E Bikes. Bisher klappt alles gut damit.

Als ich die Sendung in die Hand nahm, war ich überrascht, wie schwer das Paket ist. Die Kette ist aus massivem Stahl gefertigt. Die massive Pappschachtel ist an den Seiten ringsherum mit Schaumstoff ausgelegt. Neben der Kette ist ist eine Textiltasche dabei, die mit Klettriemen am Fahrzeug befestigt werden kann und somit die Kette an einem eigenen Platz mitgeführt werden kann. Allerdings ist damit dem Diebstahlschutz der Kette nicht genüge getan.Zusätzlich gibt es noch 3 Schlüssel, 2 Fernbedienungen für die Alarmeinheit und ein USB-Kabel zum Aufladen des integrierten Akkus der Alarmeinheit und der Fernbedienungen.Hat man die Kette dann mal umgelegt und damit dem umliegenden Material wie Fahrradrahmen usw. kein Schaden entsteht, ist die Kette in ihrer gesamten Länge in einem schützenden Textilschlauch eingefasst.Die Zentraleinheit ist untergebracht im massiven Schloss, wo die beiden Kettenenden zusammentreffen.Einfach ein Ende der Kette in die Zentraleinheit stecken und das Ende rastet automatisch ein. Zum Lösen des Verschlusses benötigt man einen Schlüssel.Die Alarmeinheit bedient man mit der Fernbedienung. Mit einer Taste stellt man sie scharf und mit der zweiten Taste entschärft man sie wieder.Mit der dritten Taste wierd die Empfindlichkeit eingestell und mit der vierten Taste wird die Lautstärke eingestellt.Sucht man in der Dunkelheit etwas, kann man durch Druck auf die fünfte Taste ein kleines Licht in der Spitze der Ferbedienung einschalten.Alles ist sehr schön in der Kurzanleitung beschrieben, die in englisch, deutsch, französisch, italienisch und spanisch beiliegt.Will man lediglich die Kette benutzen, braucht man den Alarm nicht notgedrungen aktivieren, denn beides funktioniert völlig unabhängig voneinander.Ist der Alarm aber scharf, dann reagiert er sehr zuverlässig auch bei geringster Bewegung. Allerdings ist die Lautstärke nicht wie erwartet, denn mein Luftkompressor ist lauter wenn ich ihn einschalte.Dennoch gibt einem dieses Fahrradkettenschloss mit Alarm ein gewisses Maß an Sicherheit, weshalb ich sie guten Gewissens empfehlen kann.Und 5 Sterne gibt es obendrauf.

This is a fairly light weight chain, about 3/8" loops that can be easily cut with a small bolt cutter. Not a lot of protection here except for something not that valuable, it is a lock.The alarm function and remotes are interesting. I originally thought this was an alarm that would sound if the chain is cut, but it's a motion sensor alarm. How it works is that if it is jostled it will give off a beep, then if moved again in 2-22 seconds (I did verify after 30 sec it did reset) it will alarm.The alarm is fairly loud and you can control this level with the remote.Honestly, If I held this steady while I cut the chain, I can keep from setting it off. Another problem here is that bikes get jostled all the time in racks, moved to make room, etc. This is prime for false alarms.And the volume of the alarm is loud, but I couldn't hear it well in my house when I set it off outside, so more of a "look, I'm stealing this bike" type of thing.And, for $70 this is way overpriced for what you get. There are much stronger cables/lock systems for less.

Super heavy duty. I'm not sure if I would give this to a kiddo though as it weighs a lot and would be awkward for them to carry or ride with. Comes with keys and cord to charge. Always lock your bike through the frame and front tire so someone can't easily take your bike and just leave the tire.

This is similar to another I have had for several years, but without alarm, and will be giving it to my daughter and this LEYMENCOJ will be one I keep. Built with heavy duty steel chain it is virtually tamper proof and wrapped with strong fabric that is attractive and will not scratch the bike or post. For its top of the line strength, alarm with remote I don’t see how any could be more safe. This really will keep my bicycle safe for life and when I get an Ebike I will be back or another.

On one hand the alarm is quite sensitive, on the other the alarm is quite sensitive. If this is with you odds are you are riding a bike, so you're moving your body which probably probably has a backpack in which you have this lock. If so, store the keys carefully because if you have this locked the alarm will scream at you until you can press the silence alarm. Upside the alarm is my it as loud as one would hope or think it should be. Overall it's a stout lock, thick chained, heavy and would be difficult to cut through. The alarm is a great concept and might deter a would be thief but don't think it's going to grab the attention of random people walking by as your bike gets nabbed. I love the celery bag it has, and it's nice it gives a warning chirp the first sign of movement, before it starts wailing to let any shady folks thinking they can make a quick getaway with something that is not theirs think twice, but the alarm itself is really more of warning specific to you than a way to alert people around that a crime is happening in front of their eyes.

Im Grunde "nur" ein Alarmsystem, was an das Fahrrad geschlossen wird, aber kein ernsthafter Schutz vor Diebstahl.Positive Aspekte:Das Schloss bietet eine praktische USB-C-Ladefunktion für Schloss und Fernbedienung, was den lästigen Batteriewechsel erspart. Das finde ich super.Die Alarmfunktion mit 110 dB Lautstärke kann zumindest eine grundlegende Abschreckung bieten und ist Recht laut.Das zweistufige Alarmsystem mit erstem Warnton und anschließendem Vollalarm funktioniert zuverlässig.Die beiliegende Canvas-Tasche schützt das Fahrrad vor Kratzern (ich nutze die allerdings für Kleinkram am Lenker - super praktisch)---Kritische Punkte:Die Silikonabdeckung für den USB-C-Anschluss ist äußerst unpraktisch konstruiert. Nach dem Abziehen lässt sie sich nur durch viel Fummelei wieder richtig anbringen.Die drei Lautstärkestufen: Stufe 2+3 sind kaum voneinander zu unterscheiden - Stufe 1 ist im Straßenlärm praktisch unhörbar.Besonders störend ist das Verhalten der LED-Taschenlampe an der Fernbedienung, die unkontrolliert blinkt und so den Akku unnötig belastet.Die mechanische Sicherheit enttäuscht: Die 6mm-Kette ließe sich mühelos durchtrennen, und der Schlosskörper aus einfachen gewalztem Stahlblech hielte Hammerschlägen kaum stand.Ein besonders ärgerliches Problem sind die überempfindlichen Tasten der Fernbedienung. Schon leichter Druck auf die herausstehenden Tasten - etwa wenn sie am Schlüsselbund hängt - führt zu ungewollten Betätigungen. In meinem Fall wurde der Alarm versehentlich aus größerer Distanz deaktiviert, ohne dass ich es bemerkte. Eine Schutzklappe über den Tasten oder zumindest versenkte Tasten wären hier dringend nötig um diese ungewollte Betätigung der Tasten zu verhindern. Also am besten Alarm aktivieren und dann die Fernbedienung wie ein "rohes Ei" wegpacken. Anderenfalls könnte durch die ständige Betätigung auch der Akku schnell leer sein, was zum nächsten Kritikpunkt führt.Weitere Mängel: Die Fernbedienung ist der einzige Weg, den Alarm zu stoppen - der physische Schlüssel kann das Alarm-Piepen nicht abstellen. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass genau wie bei Autoschlüsseln die Fernbedienung im Schlüsselkörper integriert ist.Eine Fehlende Akku-Anzeige macht die Ladestandsüberwachung zum Ratespiel. So kann es vorkommen, dass der Alarm nicht auslöst, weil nicht vor einer schwachen Akkukapazität gewarnt wird.Fazit:Das LEYMENCOJ Fahrradschloss mit Alarm enttäuscht trotz guter Ansätze durch zahlreiche praktische Mängel. Die mechanische Sicherheit ist unzureichend, und die problematische Fernbedienung macht die Alarmfunktion unzuverlässig. Offen gestanden würde ich die Qualität des Schlosses in einem Preissegment bei 30-40€ einordnen.Ich nutze es im Garten für meine Leiter, welche mit schon gestohlen wurde. Da ich hier die Fernbedienung nicht mit mir führen muss.Ich gebe trotzdem noch 3 Sterne, weil für meinen Zweck ist es trotzdem perfekt. Es ist laut und (sofern man die Fernbedienung bewusst unangetastet lässt nach Aktivierung) funktioniert sehr zuverlässig.Außerdem: die Schutzfolie über den Tasten der Fernbedienung geht zwar ab, aber der Kleber bleibt kleben.
