I used this tape to upgrade the handlebar of an older road bike and I am very happy with how it feels (soft and cushioned) and with the way it adheres to the handlebar. The tape came with its own plugs and finishing tape too. Only disappointment is that I ordered red and black and I got a reddish-brown and black...

This is really nice handlebar grip tape, although I did not use it on my handlebars. The metal handle on our front door is in direct sunlight all afternoon and gets so hot that you can barely touch it. This grip tape solved the problem and I think it also looks pretty good. The other piece of grip tape was used to cover the handles on my wrist roller exerciser. Both applications only used the black section of the grip tape. The remainder of the red tape was put on the handles of my hand grip exerciser. I included a picture of the red section on the grip tape to show that it is a nice shade of red. I am happy with how these applications came out. This grip tape would work well on bicycle handlebars.

I liked the color fade concept, though the actual color is brown / dull rust rather than the more attractive pictured red I chose. Moderate thickness, not super cushioned. Comes with end caps and finish tape. Have not had time or need to actually install on one of my bikes yet but providing Amazon Vine pushed for initial review. Will update when installed.

My old bar tape was starting to disintegrate and I was starting to get numbness in my hand so decided to double wrap my bike. Pick this part tape up and wrapped it on top of my old ones. Not my best wrapping job, particularly this was my first double wrapping, but it worked pretty well although I ran a little short of tape towards the end but it makes sense because obviously I need more tape for double wrapping. I hardly ever use the flats so it's fine with me.Went for a 25 mile ride and happy to say no numbness and the tape felt comfortable, and did not slip. Wrapping was pretty easy because of the adhesive backing, and I only used one of the end plugs because I have a mirror on the other end. Looks pretty good too, although the color is a little darker than the picture shows. See the images from my bike.

The only reason I’m taking away a star is because it stinks like toxic plastics. Otherwise, this handlebar tape seems pretty good! The adhesive seems to hold fine. Admittedly, I didn’t use it on a bike; I put it on my lawnmower. It wrapped well around the bar and it came with strips of finishing tape for making sure it doesn’t peel off. I actually did need the handlebar end plugs for a bike, so it was nice to see that they were included. So far, it seems like this handlebar tape will make mowing the lawn a little more comfortable for my hands.

So I have a few bikes and one needed new bar tape. Not wanting to spend over $30 USD on real nice stuff, I decided to give this sub $10 bar tape a try. For the price, I'm not disappointed. It wraps well and looks good. I got the white fade and am happy with it. It does not seem overly thick or overly thin. It's also not super grippy. Happy with the product and really for $10 it's a great value.
