Why use a Tailor's Ham and Seam Roll Set?
These pressing tools help you end up with professional looking garments, quilts and other sewing projects. Use your set to steam as you sew for a more professional finish. These pressing tools are designed for long seams, helping you to prevent impression marks on the right side of the fabric.
Tailor's Ham
This tailor's ham is helpful for pressing and molding darts, sleeve caps and curved seams. The round, ham shaped fabric cushion lets you lay your projects on top of it before pressing the seam so you keep the curve of the seam. It has two sides for different temperatures. The polyester side is used for the woolens, synthetic blends and fabrics requiring low to medium temperatures. The cotton side is for cotton, linen and fabrics requiring medium to high temperatures.
Seam Roll
Your seam roll is used for pressing seams open on long and narrow areas. You can press sleeves without creating a center crease for a professional look. It is great for pressing pant legs and other hard to reach areas. Put the seam roll into your sleeve or pant leg and you will have no trouble at all pressing those seams.Make sure to use the polyester side for woolens, synthetic blends and fabrics requiring low to medium temperatures. Use the cotton side for cotton, linen and fabrics requiring medium to high temperatures.
Protective Ironing Mat
This high quality, lightweight and portable protective ironing mat is made from durable polyester mesh cloth material. It will provide a protective layer between the iron and your clothes.
Premium Materials
Your tailor ham and seam roll outer and inner cloth is made from 70% high quality cotton and 30% polyester. The inside is filled with saw dust.

This was ordered as a set of Tailors Ham and Seam Roll with protective ironing mat included. When received, it only had the Seam Roll in the package! The only way to receive a replacement is to send what I got back and to drive 60 miles to drop it off is just not worth it.

My daughter started a new job which required professional attire. These items made it much easier to iron sleeves and pants near the creases. It also came with a pressing cloth. This was just what was needed. She was using a dish cloth which you couldn’t see what was underneath but by using the pressing cloth, it made it easier to see what was being ironed and also prevented “burn marks” on some of the fabrics which would sometime appear depending on the material. Speeds up the time it takes to iron.

Ironing hard to reach areas like puffs sleeves and gathered ruffles. This ironing ham made it very easy and left no crease marks. I have been sewing for 54 years and always wanted an iron ham. It gives clothes that crisp neat look without creases. It makes sewing easier too! Love it! Very firm!!!
