It’s thicker than the one which lasted 12 years so, this is going to be great! The joints are THICK rubber-like plastic. The metal is thick and the whole rod felt heavy and sturdy. I’m extremely pleased with my new shaft with its multiple screwing in many positions.

This pole feels to be made with quality material. It feels strong and not too light. It doesn't fit my net, I might not have noticed the size correctly, so I had to return it, but I wish it had fit because I would have liked to keep it. Its easy telescoping handle seems great for cleaning near and far parts of the pool

Love how long it is as I can finally reach to the middle of my pool, but when using a brush attachment and brushing the bottom, it bent and will no longer fully collapse due to the bend.

This is a pretty simple product so one would hope that it would function well for its purpose. But no, the first (larger diameter) extension piece does not stay put despite tightening as much as possible. This is really annoying when sweeping or vacuuming the pool as I am continuously having to extend the pole. It simply does not do its job properly.I am not the first to complain about this problem, for this product and the many others available. Surely there is a better way to achieve holding firm the extension piece.
