I am using this keypad to share between 2 14" laptops which did not come with a full size numpad. I have both computers sitting side by side so I could share this device using the 2 channel BT feature which not only save space but also more efficient when I go back and forth between computers. The numeric keys feel solid and the dimension conforms to a normal full size keyboard's keypad. I love the short stroke of the keys so I can enter numbers quickly and they are very quiet - almost silent.Pairing them up with the computers are easy and you only have to do it once, both the computer and the keypad will reconnect automatically on every power up.The mouse pad is big and smooth. It allows all standard functions of a laptop's mouse pad. Therefore very little learning curve. The calculator is nice to have but I think its pretty useless. The LCD display is tiny and very difficult to read. The numbers shown is small and dark. So I rather use the computer's calculator apps since they are readily available. I wish the "Calculator/Computer" switching button would simply bring up the computer's calculator apps instead of turning on/off the on board calculator.** The bad ** Reason for the 3 stars:- There are no indication for the "Num Lock" key's current setting. Not a Red LED on the key nor any indication in the calculator LCD display. So you have no way to know if the "Num Lock" is On or Off until you hit one of the keys.- Both "BT1" & "BT2" button have no LED either. The only indication is in the calculator's LCD and the letting literally needs a magnifying glass to read. Worst - the BT1 sometimes disappear on its own especially after I go back and forth between Computer and Calculator. So you have no way to know which computer is currently active. Very annoying.
