These batteries are great at first used to power my 750 daiwa reel. They stop accepting a charge after just a few charges tho. This has happened on multiple batteries of mine

I used this battery to power my Daiwa electric reel and it lasted about a week, the battery overheated from the load and melted the connections and stopped working. I recommend using a motorcycle battery or scooter batter as they can handle the load and are also rechargeable and cost 1/4th the price.

Excellent battery for fishing. Used in on a Shimano BM3000, lasted whole day fishing rockfish.
