This replaces the broken parking brake handle on our 2001 E38. With some guides on the Web, I was able to do replace it myself in a little over an hour. Note that the shaft has a slightly different shape and you will have to take out a piece of the hole to make it go through. Don't worry, you can't tell that this modification was done once everything is back in place.
