Unfortunately, this pickup didn't work properly. I modified the saddle to compensate for the added height from the pickup. After install, it only operated at the far ends of the pickup. None of the inner strings were being transmitted to the amplifier.

Not as powerful as the one replaced.But, acceptable. I used this on a retrofit Yamaha acoustic..The original pickup was thicker [2 mm]. This one is roughly 1mm thick .I needed the thiner pickup to correct continuity of the saddle with the pickup. An additional benefit was that it lowered the saddle and improved the action..

Unable to test because the pickup arrived bent. I suggest that you stop shipping this item in a yellow envelope as it provides poor or not protection at all. The under saddle piezo pickup is very delicate so even a small bent will ruin it.
