It was harder to get my old crank out than to install this crank. After getting a bike shop to take my old one out, this one went in very easily. I was able to install it with tools I had laying around. I had to use a pipe wrench to get the bearing races tight.The materials seem very durable and the gearing was just what I needed to give myself a bit more power going uphill. I definitely would recommend this crankset.

........the chainrings are kinda cheap and not of the same quality. Thin, non CNC milled and with very little shift assistance on the back side of the outside (larger) ring. For that reason I decided to remove both and install a higher quality 38-28 set of rings.Installation was a breeze and took no more than 45 mins and a few minor adjustments. All in all they're decent components and will do fine for light, non-competitive riding of any style and distance.
