These rotors seemed pretty close to the original I took off my 2008 VW Passat. As far as performance goes, they do the job well with no noise. After a couple of months I noticed that they are covered in surface rust. I wouldn't mind much since I live in Utah and have driven through snow and rain so I would expect some rust spots but the factory ones are still completely rust free. This makes me uneasy about the quality as compared to the stock rotors for the long run.

These rotors are very good. My 2007 Passat brake job included rotors and pads from bosch (front and rear) and they work very well. But what can you say about rotors? Well, the fit for the rear rotors is good, although, the diameter of these rotors are a little larger than the originals by about 1/4 inch (or less). Apparently, it's common for non OEM rotors to be this slightly larger size, but it does not affect performance at all. It's not a deal breaker because they work, but I wish they were the exact same size as the originals. Oh well, I have no real complaint here. I do think they are heavier than the original rotors, but you don't realize that until after they are installed. In other words, it's a moot point and too late to do anything about them being "heavier" than the originals. They are smooth and, combined with the bosch brake pads, provide excellent stopping power. I am happy with the quality of the rotors and do recommend them for anyone interested in replacement rotors.

Fits many VW rear brakes (286mm). After 2011, some model changed to 272mm rotors. Looks very well build. Installed, no complain so far. Came with protective grease and bags. Note: You need to purchase 2 for a pair.
