Even under a slight vacuum, it draws in too much air.

I ordered the filter for home brew , most equipment for home brew uses 1/4 “ hose, as you can see by the pics this pump does not come close to the right size for my hose

Leaks badly even with teflon tape to seal the threads. Spend your money on something else. Useless.

Was purchased to filter beer inline while transfering to bottling bucket. The barbs are garbage, don't tighten enough, even with teflon tape. Even after changing the barbs and getting a good seal, there are still too many air bubbles exiting the housing with the liquid. I won't use it for fear of oxidation.

Got this to filter my homebrews before kegging. It does filter the beer, but expect to get some leakage. For the price, it is adequate.

Doing a low pressure transfer at 5psi. Blew beer out the seems. Tried to tighten and the cheap plastic nut stripped. $18 flushed down the toilet.
