Fits perfect and works everytime. Just make sure you are getting the right part number. There are 2 that looke similar yet ARE different. Last digit in the part number is important!

The bulb fit well but I had to rework the plastic retainer ring with a file to get it to fit.

This is the first part (not counting air filter) I am replacing in my 21 year old Briggs & Stratton mover engine. This mover was used at least 2 hours weekly for all these years and the engine is indestructible. A few months ago the primer bulb cracked and it became difficult to start the engine. So I ordered an OEM replacement from Amazon. The B&S part number is 694395 and it is a red rubber bulb with a hole and a plastic retaining ring. This is what B&S website told me to use for my model 121602, type 0190E1 engine. The original part is black, a new one is red, not sure if there is any difference in performance. The part came in a plastic bag with Briggs & Stratton logo and note “Made in US”.The old part was easy to remove after many years in service. You just have to push two retainer tabs towards center of the bulb to disengage the clips. Cleaned up the opening and put a new one in. It was a perfect fit, which is expected from OEM part. Now I should not have any problems starting the engine.
