This seems well made, not issues with that. But thread is 3/8 - 27 (thread). I wanted to tap the plastic gas cap on my Honda EU2000 and put this on it for extended run setup. I have 3 tap and die sets and non of them have this tap size. Also looked thru all my bolts and don't have a single 3/8" - 27 bolt. Wish this was a 3/8" - 24 thread, much more common.

Fit the gas tank perfectly for my 1982 Briggs and Stratton 8HP I/C engine. The shut-off valve is large and very easy to turn. It comes with the necessary O-ring as advertised.My engine actually runs better as a result, and I had to tune my carb a bit to account for the proper fuel flow.

This threaded right into the tank on my motorized bicycle. Threads sealed with UltraCopper silicone and I've never leaked a drop. Valve is easy to find, easy to turn. Waaaaay better than the stock valve/petcock that comes with the tank from China. The angle that the knob lands at can be a little tough to set because you're threading it in. I used a washer to make it tighten down while facing out from the frame. My only concern is that it looks a little delicate and is made of plastic. If it got cracked and poured all my gas out a long way from home I would have to take off some stars.

I purchased the B&S fuel tank and nowhere on the product info does it state that the shut-off valve comes with the tank.Amazon's info page shows that people who bought this tank also bought the shut-off valve. Don't waste your money, it comes with the tank! Sure I could return it, but the shipping cost would probably be at least half of what the valve cost, not to mention my time to do it.
