A good, sturdy styrofoam ball. Perfect for the base of a flower arrangement. The firmness of the ball keeps the stems in place.

These 4 inch foam balls have a nice smooth surface, rather than rough styrofoam. I hot-glued them to wooden candlesticks, and use the resulting stands to display baby/toddler hats in my craft fair display. They work quite well.
