I use this for brewing small batches of muscadine wine. Its a perfect size for a 2-1/2 gallon batch. Its a heady duty bucket and the screw on lid makes access super easy.

A nice size for using as our chicken waterer once we installed the nipples. The included Gamma lid makes filling and cleaning a breeze compared to the lids that normally come on these buckets. I just wish that for hanging it, there was some way to center the handle on a chain so it could not slip off to one side when jostled.Downgraded this to four stars because after using it for about a week, we discovered the nipples on the bottom leak. They don;t leak fast, but enough that after a few days the bedding below it starting to show signs and smells of wetness. We bought a smaller 2 gallon bucket for inside the coop till the chickens get old enough to eat and drink outdoors. This slightly leaky bucket got moved to the outdoor run where we don't worry about the sand underneath it getting a little wet.
