We all know the sporty suspension sucks, it’s pretty much a hard tail, it’s almost unbearable and sometimes pretty sketchy hitting some of the potholes on the freeway or anything with a little speed. These shocks definitely help. I actually tried the shocks made for the sportster and the ones for the dyna and the ones for the dyna actually fit better and felt better. Both had to be cranked up to the stiffest setting, it did raise the rear up as expected but the steering actually felt a little quicker than the sluggish big front tire feel. This is on a 2018 48 special, and I’m only 5’10 170lbs, pretty average size. But great upgrade for the price and they look pretty cool.
