The SB4 Snappable PC BreadBoard is great for a small project, or four tiny projects. It can be used as a single prototyping board, or it can be snapped into two or four smaller boards. It is scored in two places along the middle to make snapping into smaller pieces easy. The SB4 is a solderable breadboard, so the soldered components are permanently attached making a rugged prototype. Two of the boards have 4-hole strips, which are good for IC circuits. Two of the boards have 2-holes strips that are good for higher density circuits (and they can be joined if needed for longer ICs strips). Each of the four smaller boards has two power rails. There are bonus two-hole pads along the centerline allowing DIL (dual in-line) headers to be used (some boards leave that area empty). A top-side silkscreen helps to position components. BPS prototyping boards use high-quality FR4 glass epoxy PCBs for long life. An anti-tarnish coating protects the copper for a long shelf-life and provides easy soldering. BPS boards are lead-free and RoHS compatible.

I really like these boards. There are not many options for small factor PCB boards, and you can split these into smaller form factors. The quality of these is great. What I really dislike is that when you break them into the smaller form factor, one side is bigger than the other... to get them the same size you have to machine them yourself. For those of us without the right equipment, this can lead mistakes... The middle picture is the router grabbing and digging into the part. Please modify your part and eliminate the extra "useless labeling".

Update: only half of the snap-offs are bussed. The other 4 have connections only to a single adjacent pin. So for me these cost twice what they should since I can only use four out of the eight.. Also, if they were designed for .625” wide nanos then you’d get two pads on each side vs one on one side and two on the other. This pattern follows the conventional layout which also does not accommodate nano form factors very smartly.I’d buy a ton of these if they were designed for the nano form. Increase the center dimension by one row, .1”, and package up eight bussed boards.Orig:I’ve used them to mount a Nano inside a 2” pvc pipe. I needed a small footprint for solid solder points for feed wires. Standard pin layout so a nano leaves two pads available on one side and one on the other. A single buss runs down each side for power and ground. The pads do not take solder eagerly but a little longer with the heat gets it done.

These are great! Durable pads, double sided, center bus strips, customizable sizes with a larger board to start and silk screen on one of the sides to provide guidance with the copper traces. Only nag is that i wish the left and ride side had the same pattern. Nothing that can't be remedied but it would have made my life easier they been. Otherwise a quality product that stands out from the generic boards from china.

Very good quality boards. The 'snappability' makes them very useful and adaptable to different project dimensions.

These are great for small prototype projects. The copper pads go all the way through so you get great connections, you can solder on the top pr bottom, and can desolder without stripping the pad off. The breadboard setup makes for clean layouts without having to make too many jumpers. If only they had mounting holes I'd give 5 stars. There are none and it's hard to drill any because of the copper pads

What a great product. You can use them as is, you can snap in half and have 2 boards or SNP each one of those 2 in half and have 4 smaller boards, each with 2 busses! I'll be buying many, many more of these!

These boards are so cool! There are two different breadboard patterns on each half of each large board, allowing for a lot of flexibility in prototyping. And it is very convenient to be able to use them as one big board, or two or four smaller boards. The copper tracing is excellent, and the solder bonds very easily. Soldering iron set to 650°F worked perfectly.

Half of the board only has copper connections that only run for 2 holes. I doesn't seem very useful to me. If I have a node that has 3 wires coming out of it, it seems difficult to layout using this board.
