The leather is decent, not great quality by any means but for this price it's acceptable. The biggest issue with this journal is the horrible paper quality. The pages are excessively soft. It's like writing on tissue paper and God forbid you need to use an eraser because it will literally rip through the page. Do not recommend this journal at all!

Love this journal. It's beautiful. It did leave some brown color on my hands but I whipped it down and now no issues! Well made and beautiful!!
