They are a medium rubber. Would have desired a heavier rubber, but still excellent for the price.One side is smooth, making it easy to mark or cut if needed.

This product is made with poor quality. The thickness is both of them was very different and inconsistent causing one of them to be very flimsy and the other very stiff. The edges were trimmed uneven and wavy. Returned item to seller and was still charged over ten dollars in return shipping and fees. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT OR SELLER AT ALL. I would never buy from this seller again.
