I loved how easy it went in.The construction is solid.I'd dare say it may be better than the original.I did notice that it felt heavier than the original head.

The head is easily threaded to the trimmer and restringing is a breeze. The head works great and the tapping easily releases additional string length. 100% satisfied even though I’m a fussy guy when it comes to tools.

Much better than the stock Stihl head. Easy to install, easy to load new line, and the bump feed actually works! Game changer!

This bump head works fine, however it is approximately a 1/2 pound heavier than the stock Stihl bump head, based on my not calibrated scale. If weight is an issue then consider rebuilding the stock one. Also this bump head isn't as easy to wind the string as would be expected. You have to push the spool inward while turning. I found that using the palm of my hand to be easiest. I also have an Echo speedfeed 450 that is much easier to wind the string.

I use this head on my fs131 and it seems to be pretty tough. I had a little trouble with reloading it at first for the hole had to be drilled out a bit to get my square .95 string in and it didn’t want to hold in the holding holes before I actually was to put it back on. Idk if it was just me or what but after about four reloads it did start staying put while preparing to load it. I didn’t care for it at first but by the time I had got it to take hold and figured out exactly how to load it back into the cover it wasn’t that hard. It could come with instructions of the best way to do so. I know that they all pretty much work the same way but this one has to be laid in just right to be hassle free, u can do it without figuring it out but it’ll make u want to throw it in the creek first. I still think for the 20$ tag and the durability of the bumper it is worth it.
