I have a 2012 MB C350 that I am in the process of restoring. I ordered this grill because that is the best way to change the total look of your vehicle very fast. I originally ordered the grill in gloss black from the same company and when I installed it just did not look right to me. Nothing was wrong with the grill, I just did not care for the gloss black. So, I swapped it for the matt black and I really like the look of that one. It takes the whole vibe of the car to a different level. Swapping out the OEM sport grill which is nice but looks like mom's car that she drops the kids off to school before heading off to hot yoga with and makes it more aggressive and like dad's car that he plays around with on weekends and takes to car shows. Much sportier. It even makes the car appear to have a lower stance. I know that is wishful thinking, but it is cool.The fit for this matt grill and even the gloss one is spot on for my C350. very easy to install and looks great. Only problem is the star emblem that I pulled off the OEM grill does not fit well in the grill. It wants to pop out on one side and will not stay snapped in place. My year car they did not use the twist type so it is supposed to snap in. I checked all the plastic nubs and clips and they are all in tact, so I am not sure why this is happening. I can order a new star off Ebay for cheap, but not sure if the issue is with the grill or the star. I have hot glued it in for now, but that is a temporary fix and not sure how long that will last. Have not decided if I want to get an LED star emblem yet or not so I don't want to use any 5 minute epoxy, but that would be my next thought.I read one other review that said they also had a problem with the OEM star being loose and he suggested to just buy another one. So I have not made up my mind yet. I just hope that the star will not come out while I am driving.Other than the above-mentioned problem this grill looks great and really changes the look of the car. Keep in mind that the OEM grill had rubber weatherstripping on the top and bottom of the grill so when you replace the grill it will not have that rubber between the bumper face and the grill. I have not noticed any noises of scraping paint, but it is something to keep in mind. I don't think any of the aftermarket grills have that anyway....

The grill insert is well-made from high quality material. The grill is elegant and enhances the look of your vehicle. The installation is very easy, no need to jack up a car. Doing it yourself to upgrade your cars look can save you hundreds from the stealership. I appreciate the design and well fit grill, overall recommend it!

This popped right in place on my C300 but I didn't realize until after I put it in that there was no place for the front camera on my car to mount (it mounts right above the M/B emblem). If your car doesn't have the front crash-collision camera, then this will fit perfectly and it looks great.
