These pads are grabby and squeaky up front and not very grabby on the back. They’re cheap though. Next time I’ll spend the money to get some higher quality pads

So possibly an open box. Set had one set of rear pads in a small cardboard box and one set floating loose in a plastic bag in a larger box. Both sets were pads for the rear. The front and rear pads are different on a klr650. Shipping was timely though.Updated Review - gambled on ordering a second set. Again, shipping was prompt and even came a day early. Set came with front and rear pads. Will update once mounted.

The pads fit well and installation was easy. They are quiet on the stock brake disks; I can’t hear any noise when stopping. These pads do appear to have considerably less stopping power than stock. I can no longer stop the bike while going downhill with only the front brakes. I pulled the handle all the way to the bar and stopping power is less than inspiring. The bike just kept plowing ahead until rear brakes were applied. Maybe they will break in but I have almost 2k miles on them now with no improvement in performance.

solid pads for any price. Fit perfectly, had my front and rear pads changed in about 20 mins. Ive put 4,000 aggressive miles on these and they haven't disappointed. Bought an extra pair for when i waste these buddies.

Updated Review (5/21/18)-I've had these on my KLR 650 for the past 5,000 miles and they're still going strong. I've updated my original review from a 3 to 5 stars. I'll be buying my brake pads from Caltric from here on out as long as they keep them in stock. I originally complained about the lack of stopping power but it's because I put new pads on with old brake rotors. (They already had 30,000 miles of wear from the previous pads.) Thanks Caltric for the most affordable brake pads on the interwebs! I had plenty of motorcycle buddies laugh and shake their head at me when I told them I put 9 dollar brake pads on...but 1 1/2 years later I couldn't be more pleased.-----------------------Original Review from Oct. 2016:9 bucks for 2 sets of brake pads? Sign me up! I bought these for my 2009 KLR 650. I installed these yesterday and have driven 100 miles with them. Here's my thoughts:Pros:-Price-Very fast shipping(I'm in Utah...they ship from California)-Fit my 09 KLR perfect-They visually look to be high qualityCons:-Lacks crisp stopping power.Bottom line-->Honestly, the con here is a pretty big deal but if you need super cheap brakes and don't mind a sluggish response these can work. I wouldn't install these on a daily commuting motorcycle (which is what I did). I'm not giving up on these yet though. Maybe there's a break in period for them to become more responsive? I doubt it but I'm going to keep them on for a while and see what happens.
