I have purchased this item twice from Caltric in the past and after installing it and assembling back together, I had to take it all apart because the engine would not turn over. The metal core on the stator is thicker by about an 1/8 of an inch compared to the original one. That is enough to hold the screw heads up higher and rub against some other parts inside the assembly - and not just rub, but getting it stuck. I guess there is not much clearance inside and that 1/8 of an inch does make a difference. Regardless, I had to take it apart again, which is no fun. The customer service was great. They responded quick and refunded the money. So that customer service experience did bring me back to the same store again and purchased it a second time hoping that it was some kind of mistake. The second one looked exactly the same. I use it for a Rhino 450 Special Edition. It is disappointing when you should have the right part in hand with engine taken apart only to find out it’s not the right part.
