The stator and pick up bolted up perfectly in place of the OEM part, and the harness was long enough to follow the factory routing back up to the CDI / Regulator area of the ATV. The pins on the connectors were the correct size but be careful; they are much softer than the Polaris terminals and bend easily. The rubber plugs are also softer to do not form a good seal. Would recommend dielectric grease and friction tape to keep the elements out.It’s no secret that this is a “budget” option for the OEM part so here are a few major takeaways.- The wire insulation feels soft and jelly like; use additional friction tape to protect it.- The rubber pass through seal through the recoil starter cover is smaller and softer than OEM. It will require a generous RTV job to make it water tight.At the end of the day this part put the spark right back in my SP 400 after the OEM stator gave out after 23 years. I tested the output from the voltage regulator with a DVOM and found it to produce between 13.9 - 16.0 VDC.
