The product showed up look clean look like it was going To work thankfully I always check everything against the actual manual home readings before install it had I installed this it would have fried my CDI because the 2nd coil on it was roughly 30 Ω over the resistance itself would have caused too high the current to flow to the CDI thus frying it and costing me more money And then when I looked for an option to return or see about a replacement and only gave me a return option and said that I have to pay another close to $4 to return the item at my convenience which means I have to drive somewhere to turn it in or repack it to put it in my mailbox waste of time as far as I'm concerned if it's not going to show up the 1st time working properly

The 2001 YZF250F stator plate is slightly different then the 2002-2013. This will not fit a 2001 without serious modifications to the stator plate.One of the stator coil wires was not soldered as well, it was just shoved into the paper wrapping. This would have made the stator non-operable. An easy fix if you know what you're doing, and test the resistance of each coil before the stator is installed.

I bought this for a 2013 YZ250. Seems to work as advertised and in a very good price. The plug was not correct for my bike so I just soldered the old plug on to the new harness and Shrink tube. For the money I have zero complaints.

Works great! My son purchased a YZ250F from the neighbor, after they could not get the bike to crank. A quick check of the stator and I found we needed a new one. Caltric not only lyrics had the best price but their shipping is top notch fast.

well, it works fine, but had to grind the edge of the stator plate a little bit, to fit the engine case notches...
