Caltric support says the ST159 stator should fit a 1999 Yamaha YZF600r, however they are wrong. See image. The holes do not line up, and to return they want a twenty percent restocking fee even though it's Caltric's fault their documentation is incorrect!

Although this piece was recommended and stated it would work on my bike after removing stator for first time to replace it i noticed. It had a extra plug piece and a small little black box which i have no clue where its supposed to go. There were no instructions included with this piece. Even though its my firat time doing this job its pretty much straight foward. No guessing involved. In this situatuon thats exactly what i had to do. To top it off the rubber piece tjats supposed to fit on the inside/outside of stator covor also didnt fit. Thats how i automatically knew there was a issue. I took a chance and took the cheaper route. Not again.. Ill just stick with buying parts from the dealership. Atleast ill have the correct part. Tried to contact the company and im still waiting on a response. Return....
