It connects to a device with a 1/4-inch inverted female flare connection. This product works as a replacement hose for Camco’s Propane Connection Kit (#59123) or is for use with Camco's 4-Port Propane Tee (item #59035). The propane supply hose features built-in excess flow protection. It connects easily using the soft-nose male POL x 1/4-inch inverted male flare connection.

Love the ease of screwing on and off, so far it works great. We have replaced so many of these propane hoses in the last 8 yrs, until we bought this one. No leakages of the propane .I will buy this again!

I replaced a shorter propane hose on my camper to reach a 100# bottle setting outside of the camper. When I am not using a big bottle I coil it up on top of the campers small bottle. I am happy with this purchace.

I installed this as is in less than 3 minutes on my Class C RV. Now I don't need to use vehicle propane unless I'm driving and it switches to onboard tank. Which means I can stay stationary as long as I want.

Nice and short so you can place your 20 lb. cylinder beside your RV tank.

Why would they not include the NPT adapter? This hose is great except for the fact that every propane hose and fitting on the planet uses NPT threads. Since this hose is not NPT, why wouldn't they include the fitting so you can hook it up right away?Admittedly it's my fault for not reading the thread description, but I don't have a single "inverted flare" fitting anywhere on my camper and finding the fittings or adapters at a hardware store was impossible.Luckily I found on here on Amazon, so here it is for you.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0056ODEP8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_ZR01E6TGQ79T98AC2RA2

Connecting to the old standard valve is simple, it can be accomplishes by hand without the use of a 7/8" wrench by a woman or even a child, owing to the assist knob and the o ring safely sealing the LPG.I would like to have had the choice of a 1/4" NPT male end, instead of your only offering the internal flare fitting that then required me to buy an additional fitting, from internal flare to 1/4" NPT.The machine work of the brass fittings is excellent, as appears the hose, it's being properly secured.A very good product, well made, already giving safe effective service; it is a product I would proud to use while servicing an account, plus its price is unbearable. Thanks Richard

I had purchased the Camco extend-a-stay kit to allow me to set up an external portable propane tank on our motorhome so that I could just switch out the tank when empty rather that using the onboard tank. When the onboard tank is empty, without an external tank, I have to pull the slides in, put everything in the bus away, pull up the slides, and drive 30 miles one way to the closest place that refills onboard motorhome tanks. With the extend-a-stay kit, I can just change out the empty external tank. Unfortunately, the 30 lb tank wasn't really long enough to facilitate my being away for very long when real cold weather hits. I bought a 100 lb tank to handle such longer situations, but the 5' supply hose included in the original extend a stay kit wouldn't reach to the top of the new 100 lb tank. This new 12' supply hose took care of the problem with additional room to spare!
