The difference is in the carbon; special low density carbon is used in the Can-Lite. All Can-Lites are manufactured with a built in flange and the pre-filters are included! Thus far our Can 10 inch, 1500cfm Carbon Filter is incredible. We vented it into the house just to see if we could get a smell of our ladies, nothing on our end. With the exterior venting you'll never know we're growing anything,it's so clean.
