I liked this kit so much I ordered one for my daughter. The one issue I had was the wick stickers. Takes way too long to peel the paper off to use them. I purchased another brand which has a tab that makes all the difference

This was a great kit to use. Wax was good quality. Both wooden and rope wicks were good. I highly recommend this kit if you’re starting.

I made a few candles with my son with this kit. It literally has everything you need, including the scents, the candle jars/tins, and the essential oils for the scents. We also loved playing with the coloring that was included. We ended up making a lavender for one, and blue for the others. My son loved that he could change the scents and mix them up to make something interesting. Sometimes the larger bag of wax was too much for the larger jars. I think maybe the weights were off or something. It was not a big deal, just something to note.These candles seem to burn for a while. They are not like other kits I have used, where the candle only lasts an hour. This is high quality. So far, we have burned one for a few hours, and still have over half left in the jar.I love that they included wick sticks to keep the braided wick in the right place during the cooling process. And the wick stickers to keep the wick stuck to the bottom of the jar were also great. I also loved that it came with its own thermometer.I think the only thing I did not really like was the directions. Once again, they were confusing. It also contradicts itself when it talks about how to add the scents and the coloring. Either way, we figured it out and it was great! And it is such a fun project to do with kids. The adult just has to do the wax pouring.I love that the little warmer is not hot to the touch on the outside, so it is much better when you are doing this with kids. The wax inside IS HOT, though.I absolutely LOVE all the little nice pieces that are included in this kit. I think the only thing that it really needs is more essential oils. Because to get a strong scent, it says to use 10 CUPS of oil (pretty sure it meant MLs, lol), but if you do that, you will not have enough to have scents in all of the candles. The wax itself actually smells really pleasant, but I am not sure how a plain candle would smell as it is burning.If you could not tell by this review, I LOVE this kit! I will get another one when this runs out.Oh! One other nice touch- not only are there little stickers, but there are also tiny gift boxes as well. Whoever put this kit together was really thinking of what we would want as consumers. It's just a stellar kit!
