the bearings are NOT stainless steel and will rust if in contact with water. installed in my KONA King Kahuna, and bearing rusted to failure in 14 months. spend the extra money and buy the Cane Creek 110 headset instead, as it comes with stainless steel bearings.

Great product at a great price. If you are good with tools (and have a bunch), you can install yourself; however your local LBS can doIt faster and better for like $25.

Price of just the bearings and crown race make this reasonable however this is false advertising as the top cover is NOT tall. Good thing my old tall top cover is still in good shape. Didn't want to have to jump through hoops to return.

Decent quality headset, was a little tricky to fit. Maybe doesn’t fit just As well as the hour equivalent but still very good quality. Fitted mine to my 2016 YT Capra aluminium frame.

I dont have any experience installing any headset other than this one. All I can tell you is that it was a smooth process and is much cleaner and operates more smoothly than the fsa orbit my fuel ex 8 came with. Everything was packaged neatly and even came with directions on where to place each piece. It looks very clean and even better when I added a dark metallic blue top cap bolt :) Most affordable, quality headset for my budget!

Wow. Just Wow.Fit just fine and dandy in my salsa mamacita tapered head tube frame. Used the park tools headset press to put it in. Hardest part was finding a way to seat the crown race on my fork. 1.5 piece of pvc conduit solved that problem! I'm not entirely sure why you would need a fancier headset than this.
