I would advise to use a little alcohol to clean the old buttons.

These buttons are lifesavers. The dealer wanted $650.00 to replace the number one button, and all that money was in removing the door to access that panel from the rear. There is nothing wrong with the functionality of the buttons, except that my wife's fingernail had scratched up the number one and distorted the view. Bottomline, $18.00 wins over $650.00, and well worth the investment. They look great, and I cannot tell that the button was replaced.

After getting this product on I found out it was to bulky barely can see the illumination of the button, so very bulky
