They are a good quality and not light weight. I do not expect to use them for rock climbing as they are not rated for this but they are also not so light weight they fell cheap.

Four of the carabiner clips work as expected. Two of the six did not consistently close shut firmly. One of the two, the item did not line up for closing.

We love these colorful key rings!Inside one of our hall closets we have a shelf where we hang our keys -Generator Key YellowCrawl Space Key GreenMailbox Key BluePatio Door Keys PurpleEach key ring is a different color - we have bought these key rings twice so each key has a duplicate key stored elsewhere with the same color for easy identification.They are durable and look great and have made organizing our keys at first glance easy to identify.

In their intended use, these are great. The carabiners do not have sharp edges that catch on clothing making them great for keys. They are not very strong and are only appropriate for very light duty elsewhere. I used several on keychains and the rest to secure a bungee net over a trailer hauling brush and loose stuff. They work fine for this purpose but it is at the edge of their capability. I would not use them for anything requiring much tensile strength.

I like to use these for keys, hanging stuff off my backpack, etc.They are NOT sturdy enough for climbing or hammocks , etc. My golden, Mollie, could probably rip one off of her leash or collar if she saw a squirrel and I happened to be attached to the other end.For example, I made a lanyard of some thick yarn and hang my mask off the lanyard with one. Then if I’m hiking and I see someone, I can quickly put my mask on before anyone enters the “danger zone” !

I'm especially impressed with the strength of the springs/opening mechanism on these clips. They seem significantly tighter than the ones on other, similar clips I've had in the past. Yet the over all weight of the product is still very light, and at least the BODY of the clip is definitely aluminum like the description states. I just got these, so I haven't used them for very long, but they seem like a great compromise between the multitude of cheap, flimsy clips that are out there and the beefier but heavier steel clips you can also get.
