I like the built in unions on both sides. Allows me to rotate the part and in case it goes bad easier to replace. Just unscrew and slide off. Have not tested psi, another day. Being bent over doing plumbing takes a toll. (installed a whole house water filter too). I have 80+ psi on my lines and I did not want to endanger my filter w hi psi.

It's hard to believe that I'm this unlucky but this is my second one. The first one I got I installed. Perfect fit. Everything was great. I had also added gauges so I could see my inlet and outlet pressure. Set it to 60 psi. Fluctuated between 60 to 65. All the sudden I'm at 115. Which is my supply pressure. I turn on a faucet or something and it brings it back down. Holds it for another day and then I get a random spike until the water is ran again. This new one shows up. I get it installed and lo and behold random spikes and pressure. You can see in the attached photo from my Moen flow that all last night I was at 115 psi. I'm not sure what all these great reviews are or maybe if you will just don't know what their actual pressure is but I would advise you to have a gauge to make sure this thing's actually doing what is supposed to do. Also I have no clue how to get a hold of anybody from this company. So there's that

I recently purchased and installed a Moen Smart Water sensor to my home. It then gave me an alert on high water pressure readings above 80 psi. I decided to go with this PRV based on price and customer reviews. The product arrived quickly and the quality is exceptional. The installation was simple and easy with the Sharkbite couplings. Good valve, good price. I've used Cash valves at work so I was familiar with the brand. Good stuff. This one came set at 45psi so I didn't touch it and that has proven to work well for us.On a personal note I wish I had given my job a little more thought. I had to cut this into an existing underground line and the dual unions on this valve made that work, but. . . it would have been SO much easier to also have used a repair union like the "NDS 118-07 Pro-Span® PVC Expansion Repair Coupling" along with it. (excuse: it was an emergency repair and I didn't take time to think twice, arrgh.)I later bought an "NDS 111BC Standard Series Round Valve Box Overlapping Cover-ICV, Inch, Black/Green Automatic Lawn Drip Irrigation Kits, 10" B/G" to enclose it. Perfect!

very happy so far. was a direct replacment for my old worn out conbraco regulator. the pipe threads were the same and the dimensions were exactly the same. It was a simple unscrew and replace. It never goes this smoothly in plumbing. lol

Hi🙃Ever have one of those days were ur plans don't seem to work as planned 🤔That's what happened to me with this deviceThis device appears to work as advertised 🙃Good cause I have that plastic piping that was before PEX piping came out 🤔I'm keeping psi below 50 psi and plan never to need to replace washing machine hoses or having a water leak detector by the washing machine 😎umm 🤔 I turn off the hose connector after each use of the washing machine and then make the washing machine try to add water to release the pressure in the cold water hose 🙃One scary part about device is that u have to move the bolt full righty tightly and then go lefty loosy a bit to get the device internal spring to work 🤔Lastly no more dripping faucets or need to replace that thing, washer, inside the toilet that appears to go bad once in a while 🙄

I don't usually write reviews I expect the item to do what I buy it for. This item exceeded my expectations. It was well built and easy to install. It has a union on both sides to make it easy to replace or to make repairing a pipe easier. After I bought one and installed it I immediately purchased 2 more. Great value . Ordered it and and received in in 4 days. Didn't have to run around looking for one at the big box stores, which lately seem to be out of everything.
