Finally! I have something that helps deter my big (not fat) 13 lb cat from constantly walking across my keyboard while I’m trying to work or stepping across a painting or craft I’m trying to work on. For cat lovers you all know how much cats are not always the aloof pet that others think they are. They are highly affectionate and do often like to be with their person. Both of my cats are like that but my big boy is my “soul cat” and he loves to be where I’m at in the home. This is a very sturdy cat desk bed that can support his weight and his large body. It was easy to put together and attach to the side of my craft table so that he can still be near me without being intrusive. It adjusts in height and can rotate to a spot that is out of the way or rotate to where he can “supervise” what I’m doing. I love that the bed is comfy but also easily washable. It is sturdy and secures tightly to the table so it doesn’t wobble as well. Highly recommend this desk bed to keep your cat engaged, but out of the way.

Just received this bed today! It was easy to put together and seems fairly good quality. My only worry is the bedding fabric feels thin ish, and I have some chunky cats. But so far it’s holding them up and they like it!

I love these! My kitties do too! They are tree dwellers and love to climb. I got the desk beds while they were on sale so it made it more affordable to get two. They are very well built and extremely sturdy! I love that they are fuzzy for added comfort for my cats. And that the hammock/cushion part can be washed! I needed something to keep them out of my work space in my shop. They are all over my desk all the time and knocking stuff off. I was looking at cheaper ones available but there were things about them I didn’t like. I did go with these because the sale made them comparable to the prices of the others. I have 4 cats so I might be getting a couple more in the future 😂 They were very easy to assemble. Unfortunately the edge of my actual desk had a small lip so they didn’t fit it. It’s only 1.5 in deep and you easily need 3 inches of table for the clamp to grab securely.

This was pretty easy to assemble. I like that I can detach the pet bed fabric if I need to wash the cover. My only gripe is that I couldn't really tighten the pet bed attachment to the pole, so it's pretty easy to pull the pet bed higher or lower. Maybe that's just an intentional feature? When my cat sits on it, it doesn't budge, thankfully, but if I move the pet bed a certain way, it slides down.

I recently picked up a different cat bed and let me tell you, the edges are nowhere as stuffed as this one. (I like that because I don't have to worry about my kitten rolling off in her sleep. This metal setup feels firm and I didn't struggle to assemble it like the other one. Also, the bed's design aids the fabric's breathability so it shouldn't be too warm in the summer. I think it'll last my kitten a long time since they estimate she will stay under 11 lbs.

My cats have beds all over the house, but I needed something for when I was doing homework at my desk so that my cats could be near me but up off of my papers and not sitting on my keyboard. So I came across this cat bed and I thought it would be a great solution, to keep her close but also up and off the desk. Set up was easy, it's only a couple pieces to put together. The clamp that mounts to the table seems sturdy, and has foam pads on the bottom piece that screws up under the table, and the top piece that rests on the surface of the table, so whatever surface you attach it to has padding for protection on both sides.The bed location is adjustable, you can turn it around 360° on the pole as well as lower and raise it to the height that you want. The clamp that holds the bed to the pole is sturdy, but you want to make sure to really tighten the screw to cinch the clamp so that when your cat jumps on it it doesn't slip or fall down. My cat is about 11lbs and the bed doesn't move at all when she is in it.One potential weak point is the bed material itself since it does rely on the strength of the stitching to keep your cat suspended above ground and not fall through. Realizing this, I will just have to make sure that I inspect the bed from time to time, especially after any washings, to make sure none of the stitching has come loose and weakened the integrity of the bed. The bed material is nice and soft, and is removable and washable so that makes it easy to keep it clean. Because it's fuzzy, I'm not sure how long it will stay soft and fuzzy going in the washing machine, but I haven't had to wash it yet so I will update my review if washing it happens to significantly alter the material.I did notice a chip in the black finish on the clamp, which leads me to question the durability of the finish, but since it will be mostly stationary in the same spot, I'm hoping it won't become a big issue for me, but if I was planning on changing the location often or had a busy household where it could be knocked around at all, that might be a concern. I did deduct a star for this since it got chipped just from being in a shipping box with padding, so I can't imagine the finish holding up to real life scenarios (like it getting knocked off a table for example).The list price was $89.99 but when I ordered it, it was $39.95, which I think is a good price point for this. I wouldn't pay $90 for it, but at $40 I think it's a fair price that accurately reflects the quality and value of it (considering it consists of a pipe, 2 clamps, a metal ring, and a piece of material with some padding. Pretty simple design, but is a clever idea and made with sturdy parts (minus the finish which is just decorative and doesn't affect the use) and functions as designed so I would recommend it (with the caveat that you know the finish may not keep up with much rough handling).

Installation was easy; it took me less than 10 minutes to set it up.The screws that attached the arm to the plate are smaller than I anticipated and I thought it may impact the beds ability to stay still, but to my surprise we’ve gone days without any issues.The bed is big enough for my 11 lb kitty but is a bit too small for my 15.5 lb kitty. It’s sturdy enough to not move when either of them get in it. The bed slouches with the weight but only slightly.highly recommend for the current price! My little one LOVES taking his daily naps in it now. And I love having an open desk!
