Our family runs a kitten/cat rescue and we have a lot of cats that are different sizes and activity levels. I thought this might be nice for kittens and maybe small cats.I can't quite put my finger on why I don't like this more. It is good for a small kitten - but I really don't think I'd use it for a cat over 12 weeks or so. It isn't as sturdy as some cats might need due to a high energy level. It also isn't as large as some cats might need.I don't know - I wish I could describe it better. It is nice - just not nice enough that I'd want to buy it again or give it as a gift.If you have a smaller calm cat, this might work well for you.

I currently have this carrier set up as an alternative bed for my cats. Two of them seem to love to sleep inside of it. A third one gets inside and bites the netting for some reason, but thankfully it's still intact. It's also really light weight!I wouldn't use this for large or heavier animals. The listing says it can accommodate medium animals, but I would stick to utilizing this carrier for just smaller animals instead.

Ordered this to have something for my litters of puppies to go in while changing out their pads. This isn’t a playpen. It looks just like another playpen I have from the picture, but it is about the size of a standard crate. I could put a 2 pound puppy in it and maybe call it a playpen but no playing could be done for a puppy bigger than that. I do really like the look of the “playpen” if it was 3-5 times larger it would be great.

I got this for “kitten time outs” when I clean up my foster cats room but it’s pretty small for anything else really, you’re not getting a litter box in it or anything. I knew the measurements when ordering so that’s fine, knew it was on the smaller side. It’s not expensive so maybe it’s just what you get for the cost. The main material IS good and thick enough, the netting lets it down as it’s pretty thin. I’d worry an animal could rip it. The other let down is the floor pad is thin, too. It seems waterproof but isn’t very padded, if at all. Again, it’s fine for a temporary accomplishment or maybe a small animal playpen for travel, etc.

These are so fun! I’m so happy with it, and so are the cats too!!

Seems like a good cat carrier. Easy to put together and sturdy. I just wouldn't suggest using this for an adult cat.
