We were looking for a softer, bristle toothbrush for our small 15 pound dog. This works well as our dog has had teeth extractions many years back. So it’s not too abrasive on the areas where there is just gums. Almost 6 months later from his last dental and this toothbrush does the job. His teeth are still pearly white. We now strictly brush his teeth every day sometimes we skip a day, but no more than that. We pair this tooth brush with Virbac Enzymatic Toothpaste, the Vanilla Mint Flavor. The vanilla, mint flavor smells amazing. Thankfully, our dog loves it! He even licks it off the toothbrush. I have always hated the poultry or beef flavored toothpastes out there because they do not leave the breath smelling fresh. I highly recommend these two items mentioned. Hope this helps dog owners out there!
