I have two neurospicy kids who are hard to motivate. I got one for each kid and made a chore list that included self-care, home care, and school responsibilities. The coin system has kept them motivated for weeks. Once they fill the jar they get to pick a prize or activity and I've seen so much improvement. The jar is a solid plastic that has withstood a few throws from frustrated kiddo. It's been well worth every penny spent.

We bought two for my son and daughter to each have their own. We use these to reward them when they do something good. If they cleanup without being prompted, show kindness to one of their siblings, show good emotional control in situations, behave well on a family outing, we will provide them with a coin. After they receive so many they get the opportunity to turn them in for a prize. They absolutely love it. Anytime we tell them to go get a coin, they light up.
