I use this for logging on my property. Instead of re-rigging with a shorter cable once I've pulled the log closer.. I use this wire grip to grab the cable closer to the log. Works as expected. Hold tight. This one even has a little retainer plate to hold the cable in place so it doesn't pop-out of the wire grip.I own a smaller wire grip for doing fence work. I use this one for logging.
