I know a iron powder metal sleeve when I see one. A iron powder sleeve is compressed and then sintered in a oven somewhere around 1850° to 2000° It is know as a Sponge Metal and will soak up a lot of oil and hold it over time. But heat will drive the oil out over time. I can tell you solaking this in oil this will improve wear on the sleeve but will score at sime point and once it starts it will go bad fast. Iron will expand with heat and hold onto that heat. Aluminum is fast to lose heat. Hopefully the Aluminum will help the iron from expanding.Give the the sleeve a good oil soak before you install. This will help. Running a little rich with 2 stroke oil in your fuel will lead to more smoke but save you from a seized piston and cylinder replacement. The piston should be slotted with window. I own a mill so it will be soon. But if you don't own a mill you can still drill a hole in the lower inlet side of the piston to let more fuel into the combustion chamber. Giving you more power.I will be running nitrous oxide in my pedal chopper. So I need this iron sleeve and I keep a extra set on hand at all times. Because i replace after every 2 shots on nos. ☆Do not run nitrous oxide in your iron sleeve cylinder. I do so at my own risk. ☆I know the risk of danger of nitrous oxide in a combustion engine. I been doing this since I was a child. So I have 40years experience

Fist item received was damaged. 1 out of the 3 piston rings was damaged. But having spears that was not the most important. I've been riding motorized bicycles for going over10 years and up until now I was under the assumption that except for a few pieces, mostly all parts for these engines had a universally accepts the same size standards, no matter the seller or the factory that made them. That is until now. Those exceptions could be different piston sized that would not fit the piston ring or top end you may have already have or vis versa. depending on the carburetor or exults you use there may be compatibility issues there as well. but this one, was a first for me, but apparently your piston/rod maybe of a different size than the crank rod too. So again verify all aspects of all sizes of every thig especially if item description dose not state it.Not sure what bottom end this top end goes with...but stock engine sizes should be the ones in the included photos. Good luck

It fits ONLY their base with crank, etc.Cleaning the sleeve ports to match the aluminum cylinder is recommended. You should also check the rings end gap for proper distances.I filed the sharp edges off the ports so rings don't wear prematurely ,and it runs Great. If you need extra torque for hills, and hauling weight, then I strongly recommend this.I've accelerated up hills I used to just maintain speed on.

At first receiving the package I opened all my items and discovered that the 52mm cdh110 cylinder has a good size chunk of metal missing off one of the side transfer port wall. I'll have to inquire about a replacement item so I can get to use the purchased item

Good quality, will still have to clean up the ports but other than that it looks great
