I ordered this last year but my original Dyson filter was still good, so finally got to try this ones and test them out. I can confirm they are in effect compatible with Dyson. Very easy to use and they have work well for me. I really like that is a 4 pack so I don't have to be reordering often since they seem to last quite a good amount of time. They seem to work as well as the original filter and they are easy to clean.

These replacements are close to identical to the OEM filter but not in one very important way. The vents on the inserted part are noticeably smaller with a larger plastic frame. This will change air flow to an extent so suction will suffer. I don’t know if this will put extra strain on the motor but it might. They are so close to identical but this was enough different I didn’t have to measure anything to see it was quite a bit less open on the vents. Should work while your main filter is drying if you need to vacuum up a mess and can’t wait

These filters worked with my standard v11 vacuum. They look almost identical to the filter I pulled out, as best I could tell comparing mr. old and crusty to the new replacement.I also discovered that the slight scent my vacuum had developed was gone after replacing the filter. Should have known, but I had lost track of which dyson version we had and didn't want to buy the wrong ones without looking at the label, which was never convenient to do.Which is to say "by the way" the dyson "smell" can be remedied with a new filter!
