Works well, a little fiddley to get it installed so that you can see down the chain line.

Must agree with other reviews in that this is a pretty simple tool to use & can really save wear & tear on your chain & sprockets. The price is decent and as is so often the case, simple is better...I have a more expensive "brand name" version of the same tool that I overpaid for.

I don’t know why I didn’t get this sooner. Very handy with making sure your chain is going straight which helps prevent premature wear on your sprockets. I have owned several motorcycles and four wheeler and would always. Look side to side on the swing arm, attempting to line up with the adjustment marks on the swing arm. Or if it didn’t have the marks, I would use a tape measure or micrometer to help make sure my wheel was straight, which would make the chain run straight. With this it makes making sure your chain is going straight a breeze when adjusting tension when servicing or after replacing a tire. This is a must have in anybody’s toolbox, especially for the price it’ll pay for itself and preventing the chain. Chewing your sprockets up.

About 40% less costly than the name brand, it's accurate and easier than the alignment marks on the swing arm. My only gripe is the plastic bolts. Even the spendier models have plastic bolts so who knows if that's a problem area. For $10 it's a smart tool to have in your box.

Don't trust the alignment marks on your motorcycle. I worked for one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in the world and even with strict QC, sometimes the alignment is off a bit. Use this to make sure the sprockets are aligned. Don't trust the marks on pretty much any bike. This is the absolutely best way to do it. Keeping the sprockets in alignment will vastly cut down on wear. You'll thank me later.Once you get it aligned (countershaft sprocket and rear sprocket), check the alignment with the front wheel using some string on the outside of the rear tire ran up a long the front. Get a friend to help. This is too cheap to not have one. A solid 5 stars from me!

I have several bikes and most are chain drive vs sealed shaft. Because the bikes are in two different locations I wanted a second alignment tool. This has the same quality feel and function as my branded unit. Simple to use (if you arent sure, then just watch a video about what to look for). Its a simple and inexpensive device, so hard to write much about it. When thumb wheel is loosened all the way, you slide over the sprocket with the rod facing towards the bike, tighten the thumb wheel screws and check alignment. Easy.

Quick and easy way to ensure rear axle straightness for motorcycles and chain driven atv’s. A misaligned wheel causes more wear to both the sprocket and chain. The tool is well machined, and the tension bolts are plastic. Basic metric hardware would easily replace the fasteners if needed. The cost of this tool easily justifies avoiding the expense and time to repair worn parts.
