Pitted 2 gallons of cherries quickly. An occasional pit didn’t get removed, but not enough to give a bad review.

Very pleased! Made the job very easy and fast. I was able to eliminate the pit out of 25 Cherries in no time. Cleaning was a breeze, yes is plastic and it feels extremely flimsy and because of this in my opinion is it's way overpice, all this flimsy plastic is worth around 5 bucks paying for.Basically you pay for how easy it makes the job.For the use of it once in a while I see it lasting and working, but definitely isn't strong enough for continuous use. Still I'm glad I got it and will be using it a few times during Cherries season for family gatherings.

Seems good quality, pitting cherries always sucks, but this made it faster. If you don't mind the look, it goes much faster to just put them in, don't worry about lining them up. Had some problems with the pits not detaching, but that could just be the variety I have.

Very efficient. I just pitted individual cherries poking it with a chopstick that took me an hour and a half for 2 cups (1.5 lbs). So I ordered this one which arrived overnight. I proceeded to pit another 2 cups and took me 10 minutes. I call this effiicient - cut off 80 minutes not to mention I was covered in cherry juice before. I just love this gadget. Cleanup easily. Only thing you have to watch is the clinging pit. Some pits can still be hanging n not completely detached. ( like the dangling chad) not sure it’s the fault of this gadget. I’m keeping this gadget n making more pitted cherries for my favorite dessert called Clafoutis. I already made 3 after I received this cherry pitter.

It worked perfectly until the inner clear tray snapped! I used it about 5-10 times before it cracked. I’m glad it wasn’t expensive. Great design—just needs to be more sturdy.
