No instructions as to how much water to use, I have the MVERICK ONE, this one is dissapointing, was getting it for my granddaughter to take to college, I had to send it back.

Arrived in a box that looked like it had been mauled. There were no instructions in the box. The "sharp" point to pierce the egg didn't put a pin hole in the eggs, it cracked the eggs. Put 4 eggs in the cooker and added 1/2 of the cup provided with water...my starting point to figure out how much water would be required to soft boil the eggs. After the timer sounded all 4 eggs were completely raw, they were brought up to room temperature but there wasn't any sign that any of the eggs had been cooked at all. Right into the trash it went.
