This is is super easy to use and clean. I got this to help with shredding my dogs chicken and it has saved so much time. It comes with a cleaning brush, tongs, and it a lid to close and help with the shredding. This is super easy to clean too, it comes apart and you can put it in the dishwater. Definitely recommend.

I love to use my smoker and especially like pulled/shredded pork and chicken, but it gets tiring shredding a full pork loin by hand, and even shredding several chicken breasts can be tiring and time consuming. This makes that process a lot easier. It is large enough to fit a chicken breast at a time, and shreds it very well. For pork loins, you will have to slice it into sections and shred a few at a time, but it still goes really fast and is much less effort than doing it all by hand. The only down side I see if the cleanup. It isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it isn't simple. The pan that goes in the bottom section can be tough to get out after use, and it took me a bit to notice the arrows that MUST be lined up to get it back on the lower section. The shredded meat and get into all kinds of little crevices here, so I found it best to give it a good long soak first, then scrub it with a brush rather than a cloth or sponge. I don't have a dishwasher, so I can't speak to how well that works. Great if you like BBQ/ Smoked meat though, I would recommend it.

It did what it is supposed to but was a challenge. Hard to hold down and turn. Not an item I would buy of gift.
