In my opinion, this is purely a vanity type item. BUT it's an awesome item nonetheless! I guess you can argue that there is a function in that it creates a more stable footing. Anywho, the fit and finish is really nice. It looks high quality. Screws and mounting holes line up perfectly. Relatively easy to install on my Yamaha scooter. Depending on whether your kickstand has a flat enough footing or not, you can actually get this to fit on other bikes. For the price, it's not hard to justify spending the dough for a little extra pop of style.
