As a frequent traveler, there are two options for mobile connectivity when visiting China: prepaid SIM cards and eSIMs. This prepaid SIM card offers broad compatibility with various devices, including older smartphones, and is intended for use in unlocked phones. It includes a mobile number, 10 GB of data, and 30 minutes of local calls, with validity for 15 days and coverage on both 4G and 5G networks. However, registration and activation are required two days before boarding the plane. Additionally, it's important not to insert the card in the USA; instead, insert it upon arriving in China.

THE GOOD:----------------* Easy to read instructions.* 30 days, 10gb of data.* 30 minutes of local calls.* 3-n-1 sim card provided: Standard, micro, and nano.THE BAD:--------------* Nothing so far. We won't know until we use it in China. For now, it's 5-Stars.

This SIM is easy to activate prior to travel and use providing assurance of having connectivity upon arrival. It's also a great value!

When you land in mainland China they have these booths that are setup to sell you an overpriced sim card that will work domestically. This card takes away the need to use those booths. You set everything up a day before your flight and plug in the SIM card and you are good to go
