I loved it. I thought it fit well- he ran around in it...... sadly he had a horrible reaction and it gave him a terrible rash with blisters on his arms. Not sure if it was the fit or the material. not recommended for pits.

UPDATE- Sadly, we had to put in for a return. By a hair, it was too tight around his chest diameter and did affect his walking. The rest of the fit was perfect. Will try a 5X if the price goes back to $20 but I'm not sure I can justify 40.More like a windbreaker than a rain jacket- softer and less crunchy sounding. In my experience, this type of fabric has some degree of water resistance but not repellant or waterproof. More rain = less time before being drenched.Archie needed a rain jacket but if anything, it's a cute addition to his wardrobe.I went for the 4X because after reading all of the reviews, the last thing he needs is to trip on sleeves.In this case, I did not follow the size chart or even took measurements. I winged it and may have gotten lucky.Oversized things also hang over his tail and look awful.The only area that made me question going up a size is between his shoulders and chest where it is a bit snug when velcroed. It does not restrict his movement but it is tight.I like that the back can be cinched shorter though as well as the shoulders.I love how well the 4x fits but will see how my old man does on a full walk later.

It’s long enough for my 85lb GSD and fits her deep chest. But it’s a bit restricting when it comes to movement. I mostly bought this for a costume for Halloween but I’ll still be able to take her out when it’s raining or snowing for a walk. Don’t think she can do more exercise than that in it though. It’ll probably bust the Velcro open if she tries to run. Overall I’m very pleased! It’s usually hard to find things that fit her cause she is very long and thin but has a very deep chest.

It’s a beautiful rain coat however consider a M being a XS. Sizing is horrible, my puppy is tiny and light weight, couldn’t get her arms in from her stomach didn’t reach closed at all.

I ordered this raincoat size 3L for my 42lbs dog according to the suggested chart. However, when we received the raincoat, it was way too tight for him and he can not really move well in it. Therefore, I have to return it. This Raincoat is really cute and will reorder for a 4L for my dog.
