I have an umbrella the same size as this one. This one is thin plastic, the black trim is heat sealed onto the clear plastic, and the metal is thin. When opened it feels sturdy. We had rain and strong winds for the last two days and this umbrella did keep me dry, the wind did not turn it inside out but it is very light and thin plastic. It opens and closes easily and there is a snap to hold the umbrella closed. The quality is not great as I can get a similar umbrella of better quality for less than or around the same cost. I would not order this umbrella again.
