This is not a 3M product if it was it would say so on the material backing itself this is the same cheap Chinese stuff that's coming into the market. I put some of that on my car which was white and it turned it yellow do not buy this crap.

Ran out of my 12" roll of 3M Scotchgard PPF and figured I'd give two of these 24" rolls a try for covering the major metal parts of my new 2024 Subaru Legacy: door edges, wheel arches, lower doors, hood, trunk. Plus mirrors and door handles.Went on just like the 3M did. Slip solution of 3% baby soap/97% distilled water. Tack solution of 30% isopropyl/70% distilled for trickier areas.Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.Update 6/27/24: It's been almost a year and everything is holding up like new. The reviewer who says this stuff is hard to work with must have never worked with PPF before. Compared to 3M 1080 Vinyl wrap (3.5 mils), this PPF is absolutely thicker both on the spec sheet and in the hand.

Install is a little tricky, but got better as I went. Definitely a quality product and saved a ton doing it myself.

I ordered this to use it as protective cover around the house on a few random items. I am on a wheelchair, and no mate how careful I am, I still manage to run into things and leave behind scuff marks and scratches that simply can't be buffed out. So I use this on any surface that needs protection and that it can stick. I even use this on my Cell phones, iPads, Computer Touch screens, and the wood trim inside of my wife's car so the dogs don't scratch it.Great product with many uses.

There is a learning curve here, but assuming you know what you’re doing, this PPF is great & cheap enough to learn on. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing product.I installed this film on my new Refrigerator to protect it from scratching.Life saving tip: make sure to use J&J baby soap to make your soap water spray and that it’s sufficiently soapy. This makes the installation process 1000% completely bubble free.
