The package says that these single-use wine filters contain "decomposing resin, double oxidant, and maltose" which is standard for this type of product. I could not find a Best By or Manufactured date anywhere on the box nor the individual packets. They are not required by law to have one, but it's a good practice that some brands abide by. I know it's not a food product but it's organic compounds that you are soaking in a beverage that you're going to ingest. There wasn't even a Lot# or any kind of identifier that could be helpful in case of a recall or safety concerns. I still used it :-D. The package has perforations for opening but I could not tear it and needed scissors. I used it as directed, leaving it in the wine for 4-5 minutes, and it did not affect the flavor. The wine was a brand that I often have itching and flushing with and I did not experience it this time. I can not say 100% that it was due to the filter since I don't always get it, but I'd say it's a good sign.

Friends always ask why my wine never gives them reactions anymore—I keep the Clerona Wand tucked discreetly in my drawer! It’s become a must-have for entertaining, especially with guests who have histamine issues. The filters last longer than expected, and the wand itself is sleek and easy to clean. Worth every penny for stress-free gatherings!

As someone who loves wine but suffers from sulfite sensitivities, the Clerona Wine Wand has been a revelation. Just a quick swirl in my glass, and I can enjoy reds without the usual headaches or sniffles. It’s effortless to use, doesn’t alter the wine’s flavor, and fits perfectly in my purse for dinners out. Finally, no more sacrificing taste for comfort—highly recommend!

I was skeptical at first, but after testing the Clerona Wand on a bold Cabernet, I was impressed! It noticeably reduced the harsh aftertaste I usually associate with sulfites. That said, it works best if you let it sit for the full recommended time—impatient swirls don’t yield the same results. A small trade-off for allergy-free sips!

I decided to try these because I like wine, especially red but often get a headache after a few glasses. I dont get that from any other alcohol, only wine. I tried this at a Halloween party and it worked great!!!! Using this does not alter the taste AT ALL, it just works its magic to get rod of the bad juju that leaves my head aching. I will definitely be buying more of these as the holidays approach.
